Direct Instruction

Specializing in literacy and language arts using the Reading Mastery and Corrective Reading programs. These programs have been proven to be extremely effective in bridging the gap in a child’s reading and writing abilities. Lessons can take place on a one to one or small homogenous group instruction basis.

Mindfulness

Delivering the MindUP evidence based curriculum in 15 sessions; in small groups or individually. This program fosters social and emotional awareness, enhances psychological well-being and promotes academic success.

Consultation

Demystifying psycho-educational assessments and IEP’s, working closely with parents to help them understand their child’s learning needs. Consulting with other professionals to bridge a greater awareness and help develop a cohesive learning plan.

Advocacy & Family Support

Helping students and parents develop confidence in advocating for their needs within their educational and social environment. In order to develop the skills necessary to advocate effectively one must understand themselves as a learner and the accommodations that are most effective for a successful outcome.
